Senior Sales Engineer

Location: New York


Mamenta's Sales Engineers work closely with our Sales Director's during the sales process, providing technical product expertise to address all prospect needs while designing a compelling and differentiated solution. This role reports into the Vice President of North American Sales. The Sales Engineer will work with the Sales Team on RFP's and RFI's, develop and present demonstrations of Mamenta’s Solutions based on prospective customer requirements, explain the value of the Mamenta's solutions in presentations and marketing events, and various other activities.


Responsibilities:
  • Understand and communicate solution messaging at both a technical and business level
  • Provide industry expertise and guidance to clients
  • Communicate technical solutions in a business manner
  • Author and provide presentations both to executive-level and working-level client 
audiences
  • Present standard and custom solution demonstrations
  • Provide solution insight paralleling the solution to client needs
  • Guide prospective customers to the merits and strengths of the Mamenta solution
  • Remain current in industry and technology trends
  • Document all prospective customers meetings and decisions
  • Assist Sales Directors in development of proposals and RFI / RFP responses
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' degree in a related field, Masters’ degree preferred
  • Retail / Digital Marketing / eCommerce experience a strong plus
  • Successful participation in sales cycles in a pre-sales/consulting role
  • Proven track record in giving sales-oriented presentations to executive-level audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and activities concurrently
  • Strong and creative problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Highly motivated, persuasive, and success driven personality
  • 50% travel requirements
